This week is cervical cancer prevention week promoted by Jo’s Trust. Cervical screening is open to women aged over 25-64 years of age and they should have this done every three years or five years if over the age of 50. This is designed to pick up any changes on the neck of the womb that could go onto become cancerous before they cause a problem. please book your smear test if it is due either online or with our reception team.
