Practice IT System Change and Online Access.
The practice has recently moved to a new clinical System called SystmOne.
This system will allow us to work collaboratively with other providers, such as minor illness units, district nurses and other local practices, which will help improve our patient care.
This has been a big change for Aspen Medical Practice. Please bear with us while the new system is being implemented, staff familiarise themselves and we work through unavoidable backlogs that have formed during the change-over period. We would like to thank all our patients for their consideration to our staff during this change.
Following our system migration patients are no longer able to log in to online services using their old EMIS Patient Access Log in. Logins via the NHS app are unaffected (but please see the information below).
Access to online services is available in three different ways. When you log in to these services you should be able to see demographic information and repeat prescriptions.
We are aware that some patients were previously able to view some, or all, of their clinical record online. We are currently reviewing the pathway to adding this access safely and securely and will update this website in due course with this information. We are committed to providing this access to patients but please bear with us while we finalise this process.
Access to online services is available in the following ways:
1) Via the NHS App
If you have previously used the NHS App you will still be able to use this, however, you may need to log out and log back in again, or uninstall and reinstall the app for this to link to the new clinical system.
If you have not previously used the NHS App we would encourage you to download and register for this. To log on you will need an NHS Log in. This can be created via www.nhs.uk/nhs-services/online-services/nhs-login
In order to be able to order prescriptions and see your online record (when activated) your identity will need to be verified. This can be done, without needing to attend the practice, via the NHS app by submitting photographic identification. Please follow the guidance on the app.
If you are unable to do this the practice can provide you with an account ID and linkage key. However, to obtain this you will need to attend the practice, in person, with identification.
2) Via the SystmOne Airmid App
If you have an Apple device or smartphone you can download the app ‘Airmid’. This is an app specifically developed by SystmOne. For further information please see https://airmidcares.co.uk
You are able to log in to the app using your NHS Login. If you do not have an NHS log in you can register for one and have your identity verified without needing to attend the practice via www.nhs.uk/nhs-services/online-services/nhs-login
You can also obtain a username and password by visiting the practice in person with identification. You will be asked to complete a registration form and show ID.
3) Via SystmOnline
SystmOnline can be used to access online services using a web browser via a computer. This can be accessed via https://systmonline.tpp-uk.com/.
In order to login to SystmOnline you will require a username and password. To obtain a username and password you will need to visit the practice in person with identification. You will be asked to complete a registration form and show ID.
